Ingredients for making boiled egg crumbs:

 1 egg

 1 cup of manioc flour

 1 small onion

 1 tablespoon of olive oil

seasonings for the farofa to taste

How to make boiled egg crumbs:

Boil the eggs for 10 minutes in a pan of water over medium heat - if you're using free-range eggs, see how to tell if the egg is spoiled.

Finely chop the onion and cook in a skillet with the oil. Let it cook until it starts to brown.

Add the manioc flour and season to taste - I used salt, black pepper and pepperoni. Leave until loose and crispy and turn off the heat.

After the 10 minutes, remove the eggs from the water and place them in a bowl of cold water. Peel, cut into pieces and mix with the farofa. Your simple boiled egg farofa is ready! Serve as an accompaniment and good appetite.
